Iranian children are bought and sold in an Iran sitting on immense oil wealth. According to reports by Iranian regime’s media, children are bought for 400,000 Tomans (around $140) in southern Tehran from poor and needy families and then are illicitly sold for 9,000,000 Tomans (around $3000) in the market. The sale of children as a new phenomenon is taking place in many cities across Iran beside Tehran, including for example Sari and Amol.
This ominous and anti-human phenomenon is just one of the outcomes of
mullahs’ criminal rule in a country ranking fourth in oil reserves and
second in gas reserves in the world.
This phenomenon began a few years ago. It was in February 2013 that a state-run daily called Etemad ran an article that disclosed children are being bought and sold in Darvazeh Ghar of Tehran anywhere from $35 to $17,000.
According to reports by Iranian regime’s media, many poor women in Iran sell their children out of poverty and addiction even before they are born. These children mostly end up in the streets and are abused with no organ to protect them.
