Reports from sources inside Iran indicate that all stores and shops in Sanandaj Industrial City, Feidh-Abad district, Sanandaj beltway and the district 25 of the city have gone on strike since this morning.
The strike has been called in solidarity with Mahabad people’s uprising and against recent arrests in that city following the demonstration of thousands of people demanding justice for 26-year-old Farinaz Khosrawani who died trying to escape an abusive attack by an intelligence agent of the mullahs’ regime.
Bazar merchants and shops on strike have demanded the freedom of all those arrested during the demonstration in Mahabad and other cities in Kurdish region. The strike was called for in advance.
